1045 is a medium tensile carbon steel which we supply in turned, induction hardened and straightened, precision ground, polished, chrome plated and final polished condition.

Honingcraft sources and manufactures only the best CK45 chrome bars. Our chrome bar is characterised by an extremely smooth surface finish with excellent wear and corrosion resistance. It is supported by an induction hardened case offering greater strength and resistance to mechanical damage, coupled with good core strength.

Honingcraft’s induction hardened hard chrome plated bar is used and trusted extensively by the hydraulic and pneumatic industries, for those applications utilising high surface hardness and excellent resistance to surface impact.
Honingcraft can provide you with two types products:
• Induction hardened bars for hydraulic cylinders: Main material is CK 45 . Diameter ranges from 10 mm to 200 mm. Standard length is 6m. By request bars minimum of 2 meters and maximum of 17 meters can be induction hardened.
• Induction hardened bars for ball bearing. Main material is Cf53 Dimater ranges from 6mm to 120mm. Longer bars and larger diameters are available by request.
