Honingcraft Conditions of Sale
- These conditions cancel all conditions of any purchase order unless agreed
upon by both parties in writing. - Goods remain the property of Honingcraft (Pty) Ltd until paid in full.
- Unless specified in writing, terms of payment are in full within 30 days of
statement. - The purchaser will be liable to pay interest to the seller at the maximum rate
applicable by law on all overdue payments. - If any amount is owed by the purchaser and is not paid on the due date, then
without prejudice to any other right it may have, the seller may immediately
suspend the carrying out of any of its then uncompleted obligations until the
payment is made. - Where goods are dispatched by road or rail, the customer shall at all times be
responsible for the goods. - The seller shall not be liable for any transport costs unless an official
purchase order is received from the purchaser. - The seller will not be held responsible for any loss or damage caused while in
transport. - Any special packaging to prevent damage while being transported must be
pre-arranged by the purchaser. - All goods must be inspected by the purchaser (size and specifications) on
delivery before reworking into a job. - All claims must be lodged within 3 (three) working days in writing.
- If in the exercise of its discretion the seller shall agree at the request of the
purchaser to accept the return of any goods for credit, which goods were
correctly supplied by the seller and not faulty or subject to any claim, then the
purchaser shall automatically and without the necessity for any further
agreement be liable to pay the seller a handling charge of 20 % on the invoice
price of the goods so returned. - The seller will not be held responsible for any loss or damage caused by
incorrect material, it is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that the
material received is correct and according to required specifications. - No claims other than material supplied will be accepted by the seller.
- Test certificates and inspection reports are available, but must be specified
when placing an order. - Costs incurred for special tests and reports will be for the purchasers account.
- Verbal orders must be confirmed by an official written order or a faxed order,
otherwise the material supplied will not be guaranteed to be correct and the
purchaser will be held responsible for payment. - The credit facilities may be altered or withdrawn by the Seller at any time.
